Side Effects - Maral root is pretty safe, no one has ever found any true side effects if taken in moderate doses. But like all herbs and supplements, it should not be used by those who are pregnant, nursing, or small children. And I recommend that maral root like all herbs should only be used for 7 to 10 days and then take a week off and then come back to it if needed. All herbs, supplements, and medications put a burden on our liver so use everything in moderation.
