Shattering The Matrix

We Sleep No More!

As the time, space, motion and cause bind the celestial equilibrium of the Universe, i believe, the mind, body, air, and consciousness (the causation body in Indian thought) bind the dynamics of Life!
It is well-known that motion of the celestial bodies and energy-corpuscles in ‘space’ is an on-going mechanism sustaining the Universe. Motion of the air through breath sustains the living bodies for a lifetime. The wise Ones have observed this phenomenon of ‘breath’ sustaining Life very closely. Let us have feel of the breath:

Are you looking for me?
I am in the next seat.
When you really look for me, you will find me instantly –
You will find me in the tiniest house of time.
Kabir says: Student tell me what is God?
He is the breath inside breath. – Kabir

To awaken,
Sit calmly,
Letting each breath clear your mind
and open your heart. – Buddha

Breathe. Let go.
And remind yourself that
This very moment is the only one
You have for sure. – Oprah Winfrey

I am breathing in and liberating my mind.
I am breathing out and liberating my mind.
One practices like this. – Thich Nhat Hanh

When the breath wanders, the mind also is unsteady.
But, when the breath is calmed, the mind too will be still,
and the yogi achieves long life.
Therefore, one should learn to control the breath.
Hath Yoga Pradipika

So a living-being is called a 'Prani' (in Hindi).
The living body draws Prana by inhaling air,
the mixture of oxygen and nitrogen as the fuel to drive
the chemical processes within the living system for its sustenance.
Exhaling expelling the burnt material (waste and toxic) and
the heat is evolved in the processes the body undertakes.

I am inclined to say:
All Life is Chemistry among the elements
driven by the dynamics of the Universe.
There is Life outside as is within the body.

Does this narration let us connect the matter and the non-matter!

A delight to find such echo of the flow of breath associated with life the finest re-minder of our Oneness, timeless, the most natural form of meditation adaptable even without a Guru to guide! Few things to share:

Breathing in and breathing out comfortably and un-obstructively, with feeling,
watching the incoming and outgoing breath in the mind intensely,
feel the inward and outward movement of the air (Paraná),
is raising the level of consciousness.

But there are a few cautions to allow maximum possible from the meditation:
- Do not be in haste for meditation. Suggest to yourself that you have “all the time in the world” for it.
- Do not begin with any expectation or preconceived ideas of experiences of meditation, self or of others.
- Treat every session as a unique session.
- Sit down or take position of your convenience, well composed. Breathe as slowly as possible.
- The Sadhak (practitioner) of meditation should be particular of diet, taking more of milk and fruits and light meals in the evening.

To quote Kabir again:
Excess is not good of rain,
Excess is not good of sunshine.
Excess is not good of chatter,
Excess is not good of quiet.
