Shattering The Matrix

We Sleep No More!

I Want To Know What "LOVE IS" by Other People's Definition"Are We Speaking The Same Language?"

A friend of mine say's to me the other day "I don't know what Love is?"

She looked so sad and empty as she said that, that it nearly made me cry.

I tried to share with her what I thought "Love" was.....and in short I told her it was EVERYWHERE!

In that moment as she made my coffee I shared a bunch of things I notice everyday that are "Love" to me, and gee, I hope it gave her some peace.

I know the little saying about "Love is patient, Love is kind, but since Ive gotten older and lived a little, I really DO see ALOT of Love.

How would any of you, explain what "Love" is?

Would like to grow from other's experience:)

Peace & Happiness,

To be "LOVE" then would be also to "SEE" through Spiritual eye's.

What a wonderous journey this TOO has been.

The eye's of gratitude

The eyes of charity

The eye's of forgiveness

The eye's of a life's journey....empathy.

And on.....and on......

I DO think (for me anyway), that hormonal infatuation/puppy Love

IS just another peice of the BIG picture.

To me it can't be excluded in the list of is another form.

Love is an expression of Joy, Happiness or anything good.

Im sure someone has a scientific way of describing what happens to our bodies physically when we give or receive or recognise "LOVE".

Lol I remember this cute boy back in 3rd grade who used to play marbles with me at reccess. This went on almost the whole year. After marble season we started playing fly up (it was a bat and ball game). I remember thinking how nice he was to play with "me", (when there was many other kid's he could play with). I would look at him and think what a cute nice boy with his green eyes that sparkled and his pearly white teeth.

I remember thinking what it would be like to kiss this boy's lips. (physical love)?

This was puppy Love at it's best I think (young love).....feelings of joy, admiration, desire...

Before the end of the school year he asked me if he could kiss me and ta da

"My very first kiss"!

Sharing a moment with anyone is LOVE

no matter how young or old rich or poor ect.

Love comes in all forms shapes and sizes and wow does it ever feel good!

I think "LOVE" is the reason ANYTHING in the universe is in exsistance!!!!!

Peace & Happiness

My favorite love poetry comes from these two people.

Then said Almitra, "Speak to us of Love."

And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them. And with a great voice he said:

When love beckons to you follow him,

Though his ways are hard and steep.

And when his wings enfold you yield to him,

Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you. And when he speaks to you believe in him,

Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.

For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.

Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,

So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth. Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.

He threshes you to make you naked.

He sifts you to free you from your husks.

He grinds you to whiteness.

He kneads you until you are pliant;

And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.

All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.

But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,

Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor,

Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.

Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.

Love possesses not nor would it be possessed; For love is sufficient unto love. When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, I am in the heart of God."

And think not you can direct the course of love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.

Love has no other desire but to fulfil itself.

But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:

To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.

To know the pain of too much tenderness.

To be wounded by your own understanding of love;

And to bleed willingly and joyfully.

To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;

To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;

To return home at eventide with gratitude;

And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

And then there is Rumi.

Both light and shadow are the dance of Love.

Love has no cause,

it is the astrolabe of God's secrets.

Lover and loving are inseparable and timeless.

Although I may try to describe love,

when I experience it, I am speechless.

Although I may try to write about love,

I am rendered helpless.

My pen breaks,

and the paper slips away

at the inevidable place
where lover loving and loved
are one.

Every moment is made glorious by the light of Love.

This feels really wonderful!......

Love is such a BIG word that seems to encompass Everything Good:) I certainly am feeling JOY from reading your your posts this morning....WOW!

You are all just the neatest people.

I Love this thought too.......pretty much EVERYTHING we see and experience in life was created out of  Creators, ours, and other's Love.....with a few exceptions maybe.

When I recently grabbed a hold of the concept that anything created by our CREATOR or ourselves was and IS created out of LOVE, it was then I could SEE LOVE all around!

I am able to see it and feel it and wow it just keeps growing it IS amazing!!!!

Putting "LOVE" into words is a learning process for me, because to ME it's just so MUCH!

I REALLY appreciate the sharing.

We just never know when we'll be in a moment to lift someone's day with encouraging words.

"Everyday is a Happy Day,

the birdies sing, the bell's all ring.

The Sun shines Bright, from Morning till Night,

When I'm with You.

There's Not a thing, that I can't do, If I really try,

Cause when I get, A smile from You

I'm Livin' in the Sky.

Every day is a Happy Day,

The Birdies Sing

The Bells all ring.

The Sun shines bright, from morning till night

When I'm with YOU!"

Those are the sweet words to a song I did my tap recital to when I was 6 years old.

Always remembered those words....just LOVE them:)

Happy Day to you all,

When my son (now 21) was 5, he came home from school and said, "Mom, if I told you a poem I made up would you write it down for me?"  This is his poem.  It is called "Love"

Love is God's power

Love is God's wisdom

Love is how God does everything.

If there was no love, there would be no God.

But hate you never want to do

'Cause hate is the devil's way, it's true!

If you ever do hate you will be God's worst enemy.

Never hate. Always love.

(not bad for a 5 year old who had no religious upbringing, yes?)

Love is the only thing worth living for.

Love is also the only thing worth dying for.

It is the very cause of creation itself and the reason why we do ANYTHING

Love is the answer to all questions and the solution to all problems. All else is illusion.

In Grandma terms Love is the greatest power in the universe it makes dark into light , bad into good. Love heals, Love is the only thing you take with you when you leave this place how much you are loved and how much you loved. GOD IS LOVE Love is the magic that makes us come here, Love is the great fantastic in this wild ride. Love is so much that no one can put it all down in words . I love all of you!
